Relationships: Season 2 - Week 2

This is the one about Communication. 

 

Biblical communication is the foundation of healthy relationships, but it requires intentional effort and God's guidance. The key starts with listening first and speaking second, as James 1:19 instructs us to be quick to listen and slow to speak. Our words should be encouraging, gentle, gracious, kind, wise, and truthful - reflecting Christ in every conversation. We must avoid lying, slander, gossip, and boasting, as these destroy relationships and dishonor God. The heart behind our words matters most, because whatever fills our heart will come out through our speech. When we allow the Holy Spirit to transform our hearts and fill them with God's Word, our communication becomes life-giving rather than destructive.
